How do I open up an account?
An OlyCash account is a universal account you can use to log into your OlyPages or OlyCash app, and other portals in the OlyCash ecosystem. You can open an account at the bottom of this page. You will receive a temporary password for verification at the next step and gain access to the OlyCash ecosystem. How do I pay a contact?
To make a payment with OlyCash, 1)
Obtain an account (at the bottom of this page). 2)
Add funds to your OlyCash wallet using the OlyCash app,
SMS or a nearby OlyBoss (agent). 3)
Send money to any contact using the OlyCash app or by SMS. How do I get paid with OlyCash?
To start accepting payments using OlyCash, obtain an account (at the bottom of this page) and then a)
Continue to add an OlyCash Plugin to your website/app, and/or b)
Send yourself an OlyCash Seller poster (for offline payments) by web or using the OlyCash app and/or c)
Send a payment Request to a payer's contact address using the OlyCash app.
When a payment is made, you are notified about the payment and funds are instantly added to your OlyCash account. Please note that for restricted accounts, where you are expected to deliver a physical purchase to a buyer, your funds are added to your wallet as PENDING and made AVAILABLE for withdrawal as soon as the buyer receives the ordered item or service. For donations,
unrestricted accounts or goods and services provided in advance or real-time, funds are instantly made AVAILABLE. If the payment is submitted with a Credit Code,
you are notified about the payment and the buyer is allocated the duration of the code expiry period to fund the Credit Code. Can I automate my bill payment with OlyCash?
Yes you can. Use the OlyCash app to setup your bills for payment now or in the future. This can be at a repeatable schedule e.g., monthly rent payments. How do I add or withdraw money from OlyCash?
You can fund your OlyCash wallet in many ways. These include a)
Low-tech options like SMS or at an OlyBoss (OlyCash agent) location, b)
Manual options like EFT or delivering your cash to an OlyCash escrow bank account c)
High-tech options like Mobile Money, PayPal, Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more. To withdraw your funds the above methods apply in reverse with applicable third-party fees.
Does OlyCash work in multiple currencies?
Yes. OlyCash works in many currencies. The OlyCash system normally chooses a currency based on your location when you register - which you may change in your account settings.
How do I get my account statement?
A live stream of your transaction records is available in the OlyCash app.
Login using your details to access. Downloadable and printable versions of the transaction reports are also available in the OlyPages admin system for sellers and other service providers. What fees should I be aware of?

Where do I get fuel from?
From any station where you see the OlyCash "Fuel on Credit" poster. You may also ask us to add another station you always go to.
How much do I pay back?
The starting interest rate is 10% but this can go lower depending on your payment history, the amount borrowed and other reasons. If you pay back promptly, the interest rate will become lower and amount you can borrow higher.
How does the service work?
Go to any fuel station with the OlyCash "Fuel on Credit" poster, point to the poster, give the teller your telephone and ask for your fuel on credit. If you already joined, you'll receive an SMS with a code. Give this code to the teller to receive your fuel. If you haven't yet joined, the teller will help you join before serving you. If you face any problems or want to join before you go to the station, call +256 753 451 257.
How do I join?

Or you can call +256 753 451 257 ask to join and give your stage. Our sales agent will come to your stage or work with you to get your details and register you. The more of your friends who want to join at your stage the faster the agent will come to you.
What do I need to start?
You need to be an active transporter, have a working telephone and a government ID such as a National ID, Drivers Licence or Passport.
How do I pay back?
Repay by sending OLY[space]#CASH to 6115. If this doesnt work for you, take the cash to any station where you see the OlyCash "Fuel on Credit" poster and hand it to the teller in charge of OlyCash. Ensure you get a confirmation message from OlyCash that you paid before you go away.
Which petrol stations can I go to?
Go to any station where you see the OlyCash "Fuel on Credit" poster. You may also ask us to add another station you always go to.
How do you benefit?
For our service, we charge low interest on paybacks to cover our costs.
Do I need a card?
No, you only need a phone. Also feature phones are allowed.
Can I immediately take a full tank?
Since we dont ask for security, to reduce our risk, you start off with a small amount to build your trust and how much you take increases as you show you can be responsible with your money. Therefore, you may not start with a full tank but can reach it very soon.
When do I start to take fuel?
You can start right away, after you have been registered.
Won't the interest increase?
No, it won't but it may start going down as you promptly pay back.
Will you not take my vehicle in case of default?
No, we dont take your vehicle. We gently work with you to help you pay back. If you refuse, we have a company that deals with collections that you do not want to get involved.

Incase I don't pay what will happen to me?
First, you will no longer be able to take more fuel. Second, we shall work with you and whoever referred you to help you pay back. If you simply refuse or we can not find a way to help with payment we involve our debt collector partners and you do not want them to take your case.
What if I don't have a National ID?
In special circumstances, we may start you on the program but with a lower than normal fuel amount which will raise as you demonstrate trust in repaying. In addition, you may need a reputable existing member to refer you to get approved.
Can't I take the money back to the petrol station?
Yes, you can but make sure to get your payment confirmation SMS from OlyCash before you leave.

You said 10% interest, what does it mean?
For example, if you took fuel worth UGX10,000, you pay back UGX11,000.
How many days do I take to pay back?
You can pay back anytime after taking fuel, but try not to go past 2 days.
What happens if I don't pay in the two days?
If you go past 2 days, a late fee is charged, for example 3% daily penalty will kick in for the next 5 days afterwhich we may involve collections.
I prefer a station that you don't yet have on your network, what should I do?
Call +256 753 451 257 and let us know which station it is. We shall work on partnering with them. The more of your friends who want to join and use the station, the faster it will be added.
